Bermain di Ajang Community Shield, Liverpool Kantongi 15 Gelar Juara

Total, Liverpool sudah melakukan 23 kali pertandingan. The Reds pun mampu keruk 15 gelar juara.

Teranyar, Community Shield akan menyajikan pertandingan Liverpool kontra Manchester City pada Sabtu (30/7) pukul 23.00 WIB di King Power Stadium.

Dari segi jumlah bermain, Liverpool hanya kalah dari MU dengan selisih satu pertandingan. Setan Merah sudah menggelar 24 laga Community Shield. Sementara itu, di bawah The Reds diduduki oleh Arsenal yang juga selisih satu laga.

Sebanyak 15 kali Liverpool sukses menjadi juara Community Shield. Sementara delapan laga lainnya menjadi runner-up.

Dalam dua Community Shield terakhir yang dijalani, The Reds selalu tumbang. Arsenal yang mengalahkan Liverpool pada edisi 2020, sebelumnya Manchester City yang menumbangkan Mohamed Salah cs. Dalam dua laga itu, anak asuh Jurgen Klopp kalah adu penalti.

Terakhir kali Liverpool menjadi juara Community Shield pada 2006. Saat itu, Tim Merseyside itu menang 2-1 atas Chelsea.
